Kimberley Echoes 2018 Premieres at Darwin Festival

Tura’s 2018 Regional Tour, Kimberley Echoes, will premiere at the Darwin Festival on Thursday 23rd of August at the iconic Festival venue – The Lighthouse.

A powerful cross-cultural celebration, created from 5 years of musical collaboration and experiences, this tour will showcase The Narlis – two of Australia’s leading Aboriginal performers with some of Australia’s finest instrumentalists – with a program inspired by Kimberley landscape and culture.

Following the premiere at Darwin Festival, the Narlis will tour the Kimberley and Pilbara, performing in Kununurra, Wyndham, Broome, Port Hedland and Karratha, sharing a vibrant and uniquely Australian sound in a program that reaches across cultures, time and place.
